Paradise City Dragon Boat is a team of Western Massachusetts cancer survivors and supporters who have found not only the magic of the sport, but also the physical strength and abiding personal bonds that come from being part of this special community of paddlers.

About Us
We are dragons! Our focus is on building our strength and confidence, on being part of something that is bigger than any of us alone. At practice we work hard for ourselves and for each other, and we enjoy the physical and mental benefits of participation in the sport of dragon boating.
Cancer Survivors
As cancer survivors we find support and friendship while building physical strength, flexibility and endurance. We practice twice a week, and bring new paddlers along at their own pace. Research has shown dragon boating can help a cancer survivor come back to an active lifestyle.
Festivals & Competitions
There are many dragon boat teams in the northeast, and all look forward to the opportunity to challenge themselves in races with other teams. Dragon boat festivals showcase the excitement of racing side by side with celebrations of Asian-American culture.
